Austen's hard-to-love heroine does good

There is very little I can add to any review about an Austen novel. Emma is Austen's finest creation, even if she is the heroine only Austen herself could love, and Emma is wonderful. She even has an inner monologue which gives the reader far more insight into Emma's mind than any other character. Read it.
